6. LutherConference: The myth of the parsonage. The impact of Protestantism on society and economy.

Against the backdrop of the opening of the exhibition "Life after Luther. A Cultural History of the Protestant Parsonage", which was on display at the Deutsches Historisches Museum (German Historical Museum) from 25 October 2013 to 2 March 2014, our LutherConference and award ceremony for this year's LutherRose took place under the title "The myth of the parsonage. The impact of Protestantism on society and economy" on 24 October 2013 at the Savings Banks House of the German Savings Banks and Giro Association in Berlin.

The International Martin Luther Foundation would like to thank the Deutschen Sparkassen- und Giroverband, Berlin, for its comprehensive support of the Luther Conference and the ceremony.

At the subsequent ceremony, the "LutherRose for Social Responsibility and Entrepreneurial Courage" was awarded to Peter Gauweiler.
